As a little girl, I was always fascinated by colors, design and all things relating to the aesthetic. I remember getting my first box of crayons and marveling at all the possibilities they held. Art has always been my first love and as I grew and began experiencing different artistic mediums, I found makeup! The rest is history!
It wasn’t until high school that I began putting makeup on my friends and family. I saw how even the lightest application of mascara and lip gloss could change a woman’s entire attitude. It was then knew that makeup was not just a way to experiment with art, but a way to help people feel better about themselves. It can transform anyone! That’s why it was no surprise when I decided to become a makeup artist, though it wasn’t my first choice of career.
I have been a makeup artist for the better part of 10 years now and have worked with fashion designers, photographers, brides and just about any other individual you can think of. I take my craft very seriously and am extremely passionate about what I do. I use quality products with gentle ingredients, conduct in-depth consultations for my clients and classes for anyone whom wants to gain more confidence in makeup application. In as much as I am a professional, I am a teacher as well. I endeavor to make sure that each person I touch, I leave better than when I met them but not just in the physical sense. Everyone’s face is a piece of art that God has already put his paintbrush upon, I just try to help them see it as well.
